This is how we created the Big-Basket Clone in 4 days.

Getting started…

It was the first time that we were going to do a full-fledged offline project at Masai School. We have been learning it for the last two months, and now it was time for us to put all the leanings in one place.

The Big-Basket is an online grocery delivery app, where one can order the grocery in the app and it will get delivered to the respective address provided in the app.

A little about the team

As we saw our names in project documents, there were three people including me and we never met or talked to anyone because it was all remote collaboration and we were attending classes remotely. At the start, we connected through the zoom and introduced ourselves, then we divided the modules based on our interests, and I created the repo and made an app template so that everyone can use the same template and work on different layouts…

Experience and challenges faced

As we were progressively working on the same code we learned in the sprint our thought process was growing and we actually get to know how we can link all the concepts we learned into a model which gives a great product.
The main challenge was making the Cart/Basket, the concept was very simple but as the app grows the basket was getting disturbed every time, so we worked on the project for more than 15 hours a day and finally made the app that we initially imagined.
The overall experience with the team-mates is awesome, very flexible guys and hard-working persons.

The Big-basket clone app, the main goal is to create the intensively creative and pixel-perfect UI and basic functionalities of Bigbasket.
It provides the most exciting features for the users where they can order all the required groceries from their place using the BigBasket app.
